Tyler Avila, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker #134075

About Me

  • Hello, and welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been supporting individuals, couples, and families in their mental health journeys since 2020. I’m especially passionate about helping couples strengthen their relationships, reconnect emotionally, and find healthier ways to communicate and navigate challenges together.

I have training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, a research-based approach that focuses on helping partners deepen their friendship, improve communication, and manage conflict in ways that strengthen the relationship rather than damage it. In our work together, we focus on understanding each partner’s experience, rebuilding connection, and developing practical tools that help relationships grow stronger over time.

In addition to couples work, I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and relationship challenges. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop insight, resilience, and healthier patterns in their daily lives.

For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian faith-based counseling and can incorporate spirituality into the therapeutic process. At the same time, I always respect each client’s individual beliefs and goals for therapy.

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. Whether you are hoping to strengthen your relationship, work through a difficult season, or simply gain greater clarity and balance in your life, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
